Each year,the Md-De-DC Elks Camp Barrett, hosts an Annual Scout Camporee at

our state-of-the Art Facility only a brief [10] minute drive from

the U.S. Naval Academy Grounds, U.S. Navy-Marine Corp Memorial Stadium,

and the Beautiful Annapolis City Dock!

In 2007, we are permitting Troops/Packs to register immediately by sending a Registration Form & funds and send to secure your Troop reservation to: c/o Joe McGeeney, Camporee Chairman at 5  Elinor Lane, Baltimore, Md. 21219.

All checks are to be made payable to: ECB.

We are limited to [800] people at our Elks Camp Barrett, therefore when this Camporee fills, we will be unable to assist further Troops.  CAUTION: Our Camping facility is the only facility open during this time of the year. 

*Our Elks Camp Barrett (ECB) - is available for Scout Troops & Youth Groups during the entire year, except from the end of June through mid-August each year, as this is our Youth Camping season.  All Scouts & Youth Groups are encouraged to attend our Youth Camping season from any state and are encouraged to get additional information by contacting our Camp Business Manager, Stu Kerr at 410-224-2945 or email at webmaster@mddedcelksassn.org, for availability of the Camp facilities.  Camp Facilities include; large Dining Hall - with state of the art kitchen,  [2] large Pavilions, large swimming Pool - with Bathhouse - including latrines & showers (gender separated), Washer/Dryer, [7] Cabins that sleep [24] in bunk bed style (handicapped accessible), Basketball Court, {6} Horseshoe Pits, large Soccer field, children's playground, Volleyball Court, large Camp Fire ring with bleachers, several wooded camp sites, and many trails throughout 168 acres of wooded land with a stream.  We are ACA Rated as one of the best Camping facilities in the Annapolis, Md. area!

All reservation counts are final as of September 15, 2007; thereafter counts may be adjusted to add to the reservation however no deletions may occur. All tickets to the College Football Game must be purchased separate by contacting at the Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA) by calling 1-800-US-4-NAVY.

The 2004 Scout Camporee Results were:

Last year, 2004, we held a Lottery drawing that determined which Troops/Packs will be invited to attend the Scout Camporee. We are limited to 800 people at our facility in order to provide a weekend of festivities that will better serve our Scouts.
