The State Association has [3] Large (16 ft x 6 ft) DAP Trailers available for use by our [40] Lodges at a variety of events.

We also have indefinite use of a smaller (6 ft x 4 ft) DAP Trailer that has our portable Tabletop Display for indoor (or outdoor) Events in the Communities. This trailer was donated by the members of Kent Island Lodge #2576.

The Trailers are scheduled through our DAP State Vice Chairman, Carl Robinson. All contact information may be found on the Drug Awareness Page, under sub title: DAP Home or you may click on the Trailer heading A, B, or C for a direct link to the DAP Home Page, where Carl's contact information may be found.

All trailers are stocked with all the Elks' DAP Literature, Coloring Books, and other items to enhance our Display at Community Events. ALL Lodges' Drug Awareness Programs may utilize the trailers by contacting Carl Robinson for availability.

Below, we will have dates that the Trailers are currently scheduled for use and will be updated at least twice monthly (on or about the First & 15th).

TRAILER 'A'

Size: 16'x6'
...this Trailer is stored at our State Major Project, Elks Camp Barrett (ECB) in Annapolis, Md.
& Trailer 'A' requires a Class III Receiver to tow to and from events.
 
 
2005
  1. APRIL 1-3: STATE SPRING WORKSHOP in HAGERSTOWN, MD. - VISIT BY OUR GRAND EXALTED RULER (National President).
  2. JUNE 3-5: Annual State Association Convention at the Holiday Inn - BWI, Linthicum, MD
  3. JULY 2-4: Severna Park Lodge #2482; 4TH of July Parade in Severna Park (10AM start time)
  4. JULY 25-29: Frederick Lodge #684; KIDDY CAMP
  5. AUGUST 1-3: State Association DAP and Fredrick Lodge #684 at Annual "National Night Out" Program.
  6. SEPTEMBER 3-5, Laurel Lodge #2283; Family Day Picnic
  7. SEPTEMBER 6-12; Prince Georges County Lodge #1778; Prince Georges County Fair, Upper Marlboro, MD
  8. OCTOBER 1: Frederick Lodge #684; "In the Street"
  9. OCTOBER 23: State Association DAP - "Hands Across the Border" Program - Location: TBD, Frederick, MD
 


TRAILER 'B'

Size: 16'x6'
...this Trailer is stored at the Salisbury Elks Lodge #817 in Salisbury, Md.
& Trailer 'B' requires a Class III Receiver to tow to and from events.

TRAILER 'C'

Donated by the Kent Island Elks Lodge #2576 - Drug Awareness Program, 
to the Md-De-DC Elks State Association - Drug Awareness Program.

Size: 6'x4'
...this Trailer is stored at the Essex Elks Lodge #1866 in Essex, Md.
& Trailer 'C' requires a 2" Ball & Hitch to tow - to and from events.
 
This small Trailer will have the following items inside for the benefit of all Lodges to have a Professional appearing Display at any Community Event: Floor Display and/or Table Top Display Boards, 10'x10' Easy-up Tent (with 3 walls to protect against wind), [2] State Association Header - Literature Display Stands, tables, Literature Pamphlets, Look-a-like Drug Kit, Inhalant Drug Kit, State DAP Banner, One pair of Fatal Vision Goggles, and other items to enhance any display.
 
2005
